Find your ring size

Finding the right ring size should feel simple. Whether you’re choosing a ring for yourself or selecting something special for someone else, there are two easy ways to find your size: measure a ring you already own that fits well, or measure your finger directly. Once you have your measurement, use our ring size conversion tool or size chart to find your approximate UK/IE ring size and international equivalents. Our guide will walk you through each step, helping you measure with confidence and find your closest fit.

A. Measure a ring you already own

Have a ring that fits you well? Start by measuring the inside diameter of the ring. Measure straight across the inside, from one inner edge to the other, then use your measurement to find your closest ring size.

B. Measure your finger

No ring to measure? You can measure your finger using a strip of paper or a piece of string. Wrap it around the base of your finger, mark where the ends meet, then measure the length in millimetres. This gives you your approximate circumference.

For the best fit

For a more accurate measurement, measure your finger at the end of the day, when your fingers are at their largest.

Avoid measuring when your hands are particularly cold or hot.

Convert your measurement to a ring size

Once you have your inside diameter or circumference measurement, use our conversion tool or refer to the ring size chart below

Between sizes?

If your measurement falls between two sizes, we generally recommend choosing the larger size, particularly for wider bands or if you prefer a little more room.

Ring fit can vary depending on the width and design of the ring. Wider bands may feel slightly tighter than narrower rings in the same size.
