Discover FOPE: The Story Behind the Iconic Italian Jewellery House
Since 1929, FOPE have been combining heritage and future, craftsmanship and innovation, and luxury and discretion.
HISTORY
Vicenza, Italy. Since 1929
The story of FOPE is deeply rooted in Italy’s goldsmith tradition. In 1929, Umberto Cazzola founded an artisan workshop in Vicenza, a city renowned for its jewellery heritage. His son Odino later transformed the workshop into a forward-thinking factory, introducing innovative expanding watch straps. The next generation, Umberto and Ines, created the iconic Novecento mesh and patented the Flex’it technology, while the fourth generation, led by Giulia, guided the brand to international recognition and a successful stock market listing. Today, FOPE continues to reinterpret Italian craftsmanship through design and innovation, bringing its gold, diamond, and gemstone jewellery to a global audience.

TECHNOLOGY
Hands, machines: craftsmanship and technology

FLEX’IT
The uniqueness of flexible jewellery
Both a feat of jewellery craftsmanship and engineering, Flex’it is a patented system that creates fully flexible, comfortable, and easy-to-wear pieces in 18-karat gold. As FOPE’s signature innovation, the technology uses microscopic gold springs within the iconic mesh design, giving each piece its distinctive style, fit, and worldwide recognition.

DESIGN
Contemporary minimalism

Much like contemporary minimalist music, which relies on repetition and simplicity, FOPE jewellery is built on synthesis and repetition. Its design foundations are the Novecento mesh, the patented Flex’it technology, and the harmonious combination of gold tones.
STYLE
For a casual elegance
Flexibility is not only a technical feature of FOPE's jewellery, but also a reflection of attitude. FOPE pieces embody a vision of contemporary luxury designed for personal expression, genderless, ageless, and effortlessly wearable every day, creating a style that moves beyond trends, place, and time.
